Slingplayer is a companion app to the Sling streaming service. This app allows users to access the Sling streaming service from any mobile device with either WiFi, 3G, 4G, or LTE capabilities. Slingplayer allows users to access their channels from any location in the world without having to worry about any type of region blocking.

This app also allows users to view and manage their list of DVR recordings. In addition, Slingplayer provides users with the ability to share a screen on another television that features either Chromecase, Roku, or AppleTV capability. This app also allows users to utilize their Android device as a remote in the event that there is no Sling remote available.
